Cesena, BitGood presentation: Confesercenti wants to reduce food waste

This morning at the headquarters of Confesercenti Cesena the presentation of BitGood was held, the innovative project by Confesercenti Nazionale which aims to reduce food waste by offering benefits both to companies that have food or pharmaceutical surpluses (producers, distributors, restaurateurs, private individuals) and to non-profit organizations that carry out their redistribution for philanthropic purposes. All through an ad hoc technological platform, where demand and supply can be met and which has the added value of traceability of transactions. Not only a commercial project with a social value, but also a new tool to guarantee the parties involved a series of administrative advantages, including VAT exemption and reductions on the waste tax.
